A GOOD DAY CAN CHANGE SHAPE

Let the weather change the plan.

Choose fewer stops, confirm a place to sit, and open the latest official information before leaving. This page offers planning ideas; it does not display a live Sanam Pao forecast, flood report or air-quality reading.

When rain arrives

Choose one building or one meeting point instead of crossing several side streets. Tops, Watsons and Clazy are in The Seasons Mall; check the individual shop’s hours and seating before relying on it as a rain break.

Check the radar image’s timestamp as well as the rain colours. It shows rain areas, not which pavements are covered or waterlogged. Shorten or postpone the next stop if the street route is inconvenient.

A hot day, a shorter walk

Let one café be the destination and leave time to sit. Smith & Friends and Hungry Brown are on Phahon 3; Some Time Blue is on Phahon 2. Choose the side that fits your next appointment rather than collecting every café.

For Santiphap, check the current forecast and choose conditions that suit you before leaving the station. Reading at the library is another Victory Monument option when it is open; it also requires street travel from the BTS.

03 / Weather & a change of plan

Check air information before an outdoor plan

Open AirBKK and read the station name, date, time and accompanying guidance. Avoid relying on a forwarded number without its timestamp. If changing a park or rooftop outing, choose a meal or the errands you actually need.

An outdoor monitoring station does not measure conditions inside each venue. Read the official guidance and check the place you plan to visit, then adjust the outdoor part of your day accordingly.

A GOOD DAY CAN CHANGE SHAPE

A short plan with room to change

Weather & a change of plan

Before the walk or the evening

What if I still want a rooftop tonight?

Ask the venue about rain arrangements, covered areas, the table and any changes that day. Keep an indoor alternative in mind and plan the journey home separately.

Is the whole route from the BTS covered?

Being near a station does not establish a fully covered route. The guide has not surveyed roofs, crossings and entrances along every path. Check the pin and ask the venue if cover is essential.

Does this page say whether it is raining in Sanam Pao now?

No. Open the latest source, check image and notice times, and use the conditions you can actually see when deciding what to do next.

What can I prepare before losing internet?

Download a selected-place guide, keep the Thai names and addresses, and agree on a specific meeting point. Weather information ages after you open it; reconnect to check it again.
