Phaya Thai Palace

A royal-history extension west of Victory Monument

A decorative illustration, not a photograph of the venue.

A palace on Ratchawithi Road by Phramongkutklao Hospital. Its story runs from royal agricultural land and Rama VI’s residence to later hotel and hospital uses. Treat it as a Victory Monument side trip, outside Sanam Pao proper.

Getting there

Consider the BTS from Sanam Pao N4 to Victory Monument N3, then check the route to the palace on Ratchawithi. Use the visitor entrance confirmed by staff. This is distinct from Phaya Thai BTS N2 and the Grand Palace.

Make the most of your visit

Let a confirmed guided session shape the day. If you cannot confirm a visit, choose the park or library on the Victory Monument side instead. Stay within areas open to visitors and follow photography instructions.
